Brussels,(Parliament Times): Chairman Kashmir Council EU, Ali Raza Syed has said that the mission of martyrs of Kashmir will be accomplished despite Indian state terrorism.

This was stated by Chairman Kashmir Council EU Ali Raza Syed in a statement in connection with 12th martyrdom anniversary of senior leader of All Parties Hurriate Conference (APHC), Shaheed Sheikh Abdul Aziz. Paying glowing tributes to Shaheed Sheikh Abdul Aziz, he said that Sheikh Aziz had devoted his whole life for freedom movement of Kashmir.

It was on 11th August, 2008, that Sheikh Abdul Aziz was shot dead by Indian troops while he was leading a procession from Srinagar to the Line of Control against the economic blockade of the Valley by Hindu extremists of Jammu. Chairman Kashmir Council EU, Ali Raza Syed added that the people of Kashmir would never allow the sacrifices of Kashmiri martyrs to go waste but they would continue their mission to its logical conclusion.

He further said that Sheikh Abdul Aziz was a committed and dedicated leader whose sacrifices had given a new dimension to the Kashmir liberation struggle. Ali Raza Syed underlined, we are peacefully and democratically projecting the Kashmir dispute at international level and we will continue these efforts. He added, it is one year of revocation of special status of Jammu and Kashmir by Indian government, the occupied Kashmir witnessing constant lockdown and people of the occupied territory are deprived of the basic citizen rights.

Chairman Kashmir Council EU appealed to the world community especially the human rights organisations to unveil the real face of India by taking serious notice of the worst human rights situation in IOK (Indian occupied Kashmir).

International Community should come forward to prevent the massive human rights violations committed by the Indian Authorities in IOK. He also urged the world community help the Kashmiri people in obtaining their right to self-determination.
