RAWALPINDI: The Tehsil Councils, Municipal Corporations and Municipal Committee of district Rawalpindi has increased the fees of birth, death certificates, divorce, permission to second marriage as well as maps by 100 to 500 percent.
The enhanced fee will take effect from the commencement of new financial year.
According to media reports the fee of birth and death certificates has been increased from Rs 50 to Rs 200, whereas the computerized birth and death certificates fee has been increased from Rs 150 to Rs 300. The photo copy of building maps fee has been increased from Rs 300 to Rs 600, computerized nikkah nama fee increased from Rs 300 too Rs 500.
The Nikkah registration fees increased from Rs 500 to Rs 1000, the effective divorce certificate fee increased from Rs 500 to Rs 1000. The permit of second marriage fees increased from Rs 100 to Rs 200, certificate of unmarried fees increased from Rs 500 to Rs 1000. The registration of new nikkah fees increased from Rs 1000 to Rs 3000, license of nikkah renewal fees increased from Rs 400 to Rs 1000. The photocopy of other documentation fee has been increased from Rs 50 to Rs 200.
