Rawalpindi:     (Parliament Times)  AJK Minister for Information, Tourism and Youth Affairs Raja Mushtaq Ahmed Minhas has strongly condemned the looting and vandalizing public properties by the Indian occupation forces in Budgam district of Occupied Kashmir.

In a press statement, the Information Minister said that destroying the property of Kashmiris has become a new norm for the Indian Army deployed in the length and breadth of occupied Kashmir. On the other hand he said that amidst Corona crisis Kashmiris were subjected to severe torture during siege and search operations.

Referring to the recent incident of looting and vandalizing of public properties by Indian forces Minhas said that during its vicious operation at Nasrullahpora village of district Budgam, the Indian Army had looted more than 27 shops and barged into houses and destroyed household items. “During the operation, 163 vehicles and more than 42 buildings were damaged”, he said.

He called on the international community to take notice of this heinous act of the Indian Army and stop it from committing grave human rights violations against Kashmiris, who he said have never accepted India’s forcible occupation of their motherland.

Terming right to self-determination as an inalienable right of the people of Kashmir the information minister urged the global community to put pressure on India to stop rights violations in the region to pave a way for final settlement of the dispute.
