RAWALPINDI: The anti-dengue teams of Rawalpindi Cantonment Board (RCB) on Tuesday visited different areas to check dengue larvae vulnerable sites. The teams were also conducting anti-dengue spray and fumigation in the Cant areas.
According to the details, the anti-dengue spray was conducted at factories, shops, hotels, plazas, and filtration plants located in Chuhar Chowk, Misryal Road, Bakra Mandi, Tench Bhata, Dhok Sayedan, Dhok Gujran. During the inspection campaign Dengue larva was found at 22 locations and destroyed on the spot.
On the other hand, dengue awareness campaign has been going on for past several weeks whereby citizens are instructed to take necessary precautionary measures to protect themselves from dengue.
Meanwhile, the Rawalpindi Cantonment Board Public Facilitation Center received a total of 337 complaints last week out of which 227 complaints were resolved immediately.
