Says India hell bent on to change demography of Kashmir valley,
MUZAFFARABAD: (Parliament Times) The Prime Minister Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Raja Farooq Haider Khan says Pakistan has always advocated solution of Kashmir issue in line with United Nations’ resolutions and wishes of Kashmiris while India consider it its part and maintained its illegal occupation.
He was addressing a seminar about historical perspective of Kashmir issue in recent situation at University of Azad Jammu and Kashmir here on Monday.
The Prime Minister said that India through unilateral actions wants to change demography of the occupied valley and suppressing the indigenous liberation movement.
He said sacrifices of Kashmiri martyrs are continuing right from 1932. “No country is supporting Kashmir on the issue of human rights violations except Pakistan who strongly raised the issue of massive human rights violations by the Indian military and paramilitary forces at all available international forums”, PM added.
Raja Farooq Haider while informing the students about the latest deteriorating situation of human rights in the held valley said that there is complete ban on freedom of speech in the held valley.
Raja Farooq Haider said Narrinder Modi led government mistreating Dullets, Christians, Sikh, Muslims and other minorities. “If the Modi government remains in power for next five years, India will become a center of extremism and intolerance”, he added.
The Prime Minister asked students to write letters to the human rights organizations, US Congress and other global bodies about the gross human rights violations in the occupied Valley. “Social media should also be utilized to expose ugly face of India and its troop’s atrocities in the held valley”, Haider advised students.
On this occasion, Prime Minister Farooq Haider responded the questions of the students for hours and discussed the historical perspective and recent development on the longstanding Kashmir dispute.
Faculty members and students supported the policies and steps taken by Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider Khan after 5th August when India revoked the special status of the disputed territory.
The Minister for Education Barrister Iftikhar Gillani and Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Muhammad Kaleem Abbasi also spoke on the occasion.
