Muzaffarabad:  (Parliament Times)      Government of Azad Jammu Kashmir(AJK) will host an International Paragliding event and culture festival on 27th September this year to promote tourism in the state.
AJK Government will host the biggest event in the history of AJK with the collaboration of federal government and Pakistan Hang Gliding and Paragliding Association (PHPA) in Muzaffarabad AJK, on 27th September 2019 to 1 October 2019.
While addressing to launching ceremony, PM AJK Raja Farooq Haider accompanied by AJK Minister for Tourism Raja Mushtaq Minhas and Secretary Tourism Midhat Shahzad said that AJK has a great potential for tourism and government is taking tangible steps to tap this potential.
He added that there are great opportunities for investment in this sector and the investment of overseas Kashmiris would be protected.
He added that thousands of people will participate in this event and it will be a great event for the promotion of tourism in AJK.
AJK Minister for Tourism Raja Mushtaq Minhas and Secretary Tourism Midhat Shahzad are taking keen interest to manage this event and they are rendering good efforts for promotion of tourism in AJK.

Pakistan Hang Gliding and Paragliding Association is running by paraglide pilot Syed Sajjad Hussain Shah, who learnt this sport from two French enthusiasts.
