LAHORE:        Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar on Wednesday said that the opposition’s All Parties Conference (APC) is being held for personal interests and to protect the looted money.
The Punjab chief minister maintained that the opposition does not have any agenda, and giving priority to personal benefits over national interests is synonymous to befooling people.
The opposition leaders have no concerns with the problems of the masses, and those who de-tracked Pakistan from making progress are conducting the APC today, he said.
Usman Buzdar affirmed that people know these parties destroyed Pakistan’s economy in the past, and the same rejected elements are now worried after witnessing Pakistan’s advancement towards right path.
The opposition has united just to save its own corruption and it will again face failure like it did in the past, the chief minister concluded.
Let it be known that the APC called by Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman to formulate a joint strategy against the government will be held in Islamabad today.
The conference will host the representatives of opposition parties to devise strategy for future course-of-action against the ruling Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government.
