MUZAFFARABAD: (Parliament Times) The AJK Election Commission has clarified that no test was conducted as yet against the posts advertised several months back.
A press release issued from the EC Secretariat on Tuesday refuted the news appeared in a section of press that despite collecting several hundred thousand rupees,
the tests and interviews for the vacant positions had not been conducted. The PR explained that AJK EC had not received any fee from the candidates along with their applications. The advertised posts of EC had been challenged by some persons and the case was still pending with the court, it added. The PR says that there was no fault of the department in it.
It was further explained that AJK EC had requested the government for release of funds to conduct the tests and interviews of the candidates. The EC had not yet received the funds it was why the matter was still pending.
