Directs officials to step-up tree plantation drive in the district,
NEELUM: (Parliament Times) The speaker AJK legislative assembly Shah Ghulam Qadir on Wednesday visited Forests department office Athmuqam and planted a sapling there.
The speaker directed the Forests officials to intensify the tree plantation drive in the district. DFO Tajdeed Manzoor Maqbool briefed him on tree plantation drive in Tao Butt, Kail, Nakron, Janevai, Sharda, Sargan, Lawat, Katha Piran, Bandi and other areas.
Shah Ghulam Qadir emphasized the officials on protection of planted saplings side by side planting new saplings. He said in future we could benefit from nurseries in Neelum.
