MIRPUR (AJK): The mother of Bader Altaf, veteran UK-based British Kashmiri businessman and former Executive Committee member of the FPCCI and AJK CCI, died here Thursday after prolonged illness.

The deceased lady was also the mother of Aamer Altaf, another renowned Britain-based Kashmiri entrepreneur and aunt of Haroon Rasheed, former local head Standard Chartered Bank and Raza Haroon, Project Officer M/s. Toyota Azad Motors, Mirpur. She was bed-ridden since past few months and breathed her last Thursday morning in native town of Mirpur.

Hundreds of people from all walks of life including AJK Sports and Youth affairs minister Ch. Muhammad Saeed, President AJK CCI Sohail Shujah Mujahid, ex President Murtaza Chaudhry, Assistant Commissioner Income Tax Mirza Talat Mahmood, retired Secretary Transport AJK Govt., Adil Mahmood Khan, Director Mirpur campus of International Islamic University Islamabad Schools network Attique ul Amin Khan, Retired Research Officer AJK BISE Tasawar Hussain Sulehriya, Real Estate entrepreneur Jehanzeb Khan, officials of the local district administration, members of the business fraternity, lawyers, journalists, overseas Kashmiri leaders and city elite from other sections of the society offered the funeral prayer
