MUZAFFARABAD: (Parliament Times) A meeting to get National Action Program (NAP) implemented was held here on Wednesday.

Chaired by deputy commissioner Badar Munir the meeting was attended by Raja Akmal Khan, SP Muzaffarabad, DSP Special Branch, and armed forces personnel.

Addressing the meeting DC told that action was being taken on points of NAP and it was being implemented in letter and spirit. He said NAP played important role in uniting the nation. The law enforces achieved successes by being on one page while media also played its positive role, he added. He said armed entry/exit forces also did well by sharing collective information.

Badar also took briefing on steps relating to law and order, foreigners’ security working on ongoing projects in the district, social media, banned organizations, afghan refugees, NGOs, security of education institutions (schools, colleges and Universities), implementation on sound system act, and registration of seminaries.

SP Muzaffarabad in his briefing told that checking of hotels and restaurants is made on daily basis. He said police and magistrates make patrolling too. He said mock exercises would be held in the city Garidupatta and Patihka Naseerabad.
