MUZAFFARABAD: (Parliament Times) The Chairman AJK Accountability Bureau Raja Muhammad Aslam Khan inspected the building for the Bureau at Thoori Lower Chattar on Friday.

Secretary Planning and Physical Housing Sharif Imran Mukhtar, SDO Suhail Qayyum Qureshi, contractor of the project Sardar Afraz Khan, Director PPH and chief engineer Ali Chughtai were also present on the occasion.

Giving briefing to the Chairman on new building technical staffers told that the building project would cost 69.027 million rupees. They said overall cost of the work order was 59.892 million. The construction work started in April last.

Speaking on the occasion Chairman AB expressed satisfaction on the pace and quality of construction work and lauded the progress of officials of works department. He explained that divisional offices of the bureau existed at Rawalakot and Mirpur but it was difficult to monitor them at the same time. With the transfer of these offices the bureau offices have been centralized in Muzaffarabad. He said the cases of the complainants are being processed on daily basis now which bettered the system of timely disposing them of.

Secretary PPH Sharif Dar gave a detailed briefing on construction of the building to the Chairman. He told that the issue of boundary walls and third storey had been sent to Planning and Development and assured that the building would be completed in time and handed over to AB.
