MUZAFFARABAD : (Parliament Times) The AJK Cabinet meeting chaired by Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider Khan unanimously adopted a number of resolutions here on Wednesday.

Through a resolution the cabinet renewed the pledge that mission of two greatest hero of Kashmir Liberation Struggle, Maqbool Bhat Shaheed and Muhammad Afzal Guru Shaheed would be accomplished. Both Bhat and Guru’s anniversaries were observed with veneration in the last week. The cabinet appealed the international community to put pressure on India to hand over the mortal remains of both the Kashmiri leaders to their respective families.

Through another resolution the cabinet expressed thanks to people of Pakistan for enthusiastically observing Kashmir solidarity day on Feb 5. It observed that President of Pakistan visited to address AJK legislative assembly which was a morale boosting to the people of IOK who have been braving worst atrocities and human rights abuses by Indian forces. The resolution said that this year solidarity was expressed with Kashmiris on Feb 5 in Britain, Italy, Canada, Germany, France, Spain, Belgium, US, Middle East and EU countries which clearly proves that this day has now great importance at international level. It said that India should understand that Kashmiri do not want any longer to live with it at any cost. The resolution also expressed thanks to local and national media for highlighting Kashmir solidarity events.

The cabinet meeting paid rich tributes to APHC leadership for a complete strike on the visit of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Kashmir. The entire valley had been turned into a military zone on the visit of Modi, it added. It said that these scenes were adequately highlighted by international media but India is not ready to give up its intransigent policy on Kashmir. Rejecting the visit of Modi also testifies that Kashmiris have no interested with any economic package and they are ready to do or die for their liberation.

Another resolution strongly denounced the string of massacring of Kashmiri youth and continuous brutalities of Indian forces in the valley.

The meeting expressed serious concerns over the deteriorating health of former Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif. It demanded provision of better medical facilities to the three times Prime Minister of Pakistan.

The meeting expressed complete confidence over the leadership of Prime Minister Haider. It said that AJK government was doing great under his leadership. It expressed its resolve to stand with the Premier in the time to come. It congratulated the entire nation on the successful experiment of Missile Nasar. The meeting also condemned actions by terrorists on the office of DIG in Loralai in which 5 people were killed. The meeting also paid rich tributes to armed forces for their sacrifices for elimination of menace of terrorism from the country.
