NEELUM: (Parliament Times) The deputy commissioner Neelum Raja Mehmood Shahid said that Kashmir Solidarity Day would be observed with renewed pledge that no sacrifice would be spared for Kashmir liberation struggle and stability of Pakistan.

Chairing a meeting here on Tuesday he invited people of all shades of life to fully participate in the functions held on Feb 5 to express solidarity with the people of Kashmir who had been facing worst atrocities and state terrorism at the hands of Indian forces. He also urged the heads of departments to ensure that employees of their departments take active part in the solidarity functions.

Shahid observed that Feb 5 was a historic day when people and government of Pakistan expressed their complete solidarity with struggling people of Indian Occupied Kashmir. He said human chains would be made at bridges connecting AJK with Pakistan to reflect that hearts of people of AJK and Pakistan beat for their brethren in great difficulties in IHK. He said Athmuqam is near LoC where people have offered tremendous sacrifices. He assured that people of Neelum would continue expressing solidarity with their brethren across the LoC until they achieve their right to self-determination.
