CHAKAR: (Parliament Times) The cousin of AJK Prime Minister, late Raja Muhammad Imtiaz Khan who passed away in Chakar was laid to rest on Tuesday at his native town.
His funeral was attended by Raja Farooq Haider Khan, Sardar Attique Ahmed Khan, Ch. Latif Akbar, AJK Chief Justice Ch. Ibrahim Zia, Justice Ghulam Mustafa Mughal, CJ HC Justice M. Tabassum Aftab Alvi, ministers Raja Abdul Qayyum Khan, Ch. Muhammad Aziz, Sardar Farooq Ahmed Tahir, Col. Retd. Waqar Ahmed Noor, Ch. Rukhsar Ahmed, Dr. Mustafa Bashir, Ch. Muhammad Ismail, Ch. Muhammad Saeed, Ch. Shahzad Mehmood, Raja Muhammad Siddique Khan and many other leaders.
Addressing to the condolence reference of late Raja Muhammad Imtiaz Khan, the Prime Minister could not control his tears. He expressed shock over the untimely death of his cousin and said Imtiaz was very close to him and always guided him in life. “He would always be missed in my life” he added.
Mr. Haider expressed thanks to all who despite biting chill came to Chakar to attend the funeral of his cousin. He also prayed for the departed soul.
Meanwhile Chairman PML-N Raja Zafarul Haque, former Prime Minister of Pakistan Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, leader of opposition in Punjab assembly Hamza Shahbaz, Marryam Nawaz and other leaders expressed condolence over the sad demise of late Raja Muhammad Imtiaz Khan.
