MUZAFFARABAD : (Parliament Times) The Commissioner Muzaffarabad division Ch. Imtiaz took a round of the city on Thursday and gave directives to intensify steps for removal of encroachments and beautification of the capital city.
The commissioner was accompanied by deputy commissioner Badar Munir, SSP Raja Akmal Khan, ADC Syed Ashfaq Gillani and Administration municipal corporation Kh. Azam Rasool.
Imtiaz ordered the concerned officials to start their operation against illegal encroachment without having been pressurized or influenced from any quarter and continue it until the city was freed from all kinds of encroachments. He said steps should also be taken to clean and beautify the city.
Imtiaz also directed the concerned officials to pay adequate attention to the public problems. Provision of facilities and ensuring peace and security to citizens of capital city was obligation of district administration, he added.
The DC on this occasion pointed out that city’s traffic was under great pressure due to encroachments on roads.
