RAWALPINDI: Decision has been taken to regularize 30000 contract teachers from Primary, Middle and High Schools across Punjab including Rawalpindi till December 31.
According to media reports, working groups will be formed for rationalization of teaching schools and quality education. This was decided in a meeting between Special secretary schools and Punjab Teachers Union.
It was further decided that in service promotion cases will be dealt with on emergency basis. Non teaching duties will be abolished.
It was also agreed in the meeting one window would be established at district level. The head teachers allowance of all headmasters will be increased and IT allowance amounting to Rs 1000 will be granted to computers teachers.
