Islamabad: Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has shifted the burden of Rs 44.74 billion to favor Sui Northern Company.
According to media reports, OGRA has allowed Sui Northern Company for gas shortfall adjustment of Rs 44.74 billion.
The permission for gas short fall adjustment without verification led to increase in the cost of gas by Rs 106 per MMBTU.
It has been said that if OGRA didn’t allow such adjustment to Sui Northern Gas Company then gas could become available at a low price by Rs 30.62 per MMBTU.
