Muzaffarabad, (Parliament Times) : A delegation of AJK traders’ association led by its president Muhammad Razzaq Khan called on Prime Minister Chaudhry Anwarul Haq. Speaking on the occasion, Prime Minister Haq said that raising a voice for legitimate rights was not a crime but the state won’t allow anyone to use it as a pretext to create an ideological divide or disrupt peace in the region. “All possible steps will be taken to establish the writ of the state and there will be no compromise on it”, he said, adding that no one be allowed to dent or harm the ideology of Pakistan in the region.
“Pakistan is the axis and center of our hopes and joining Pakistan is our destination”, he said.
The PM while reiterating his commitment to safeguard the interests of the state and its people told the delegation that he would go to any extent to protect the rights of the citizens. He said that the state resources would be utilized for the welfare of the economically less-privileged sections of the society. The PM said that the business community should also play a role in improving society. He assured the delegation that traders’ problems would be solved on a priority basis. He said that the local bodies will be made more active. Regarding the deployment of FC, the PM made it clear that FC has been called for the protection of foreigners in Azad Kashmir.”Protection of foreigners working in Azad Kashmir is our responsibility”, he said, adding that FC would be deployed in particular areas to ensure foolproof security to them. Referring to the federal government’s all-out support and timely release of funds, the prime minister said that despite the adverse conditions the federal government did not stop our funds. He said that interest-free loans would be given to the youth so that they can start their own business.
He said that improvements were being made in all other sectors including health, education, and infrastructure.” We all have to work together like a single unit to establish a society that is free of tribalism and prejudice”, the PM said. Referring to the dissemination of disinformation on social media, he said that it was not wise to get the new generation spoiled and their minds poisoned by the propagandists who spread lies and disinformation through social media.”We have to lead and guide our new generation in the right direction”, he maintained.
