ISLAMABAD: A three member bench of the Supreme Court, headed by Chief Justice Justice Saqib Nisar, heard the case relating to program of a private television channel.
Minister for Information and Broadcasting Fawad Chaudhary appeared before the apex court.
In his remarks, the Chief Justice observed how a media house can telecast programs on pending cases.
The court issued notices to PEMRA, Pakistan Broadcasters Association, Attorney-General and anchor of the program as to how a program can be aired on under trial case. The hearing has now been adjourned for ten days.
