LAHORE: PML-N has contacted Chaudhry Nisar for formation of government in Punjab while the latter has yielded positive response to this overture.
PML-N Senator Mushahid Hussain contacted Chaudhry Nisar by telephone on Monday and tried to take him into confidence. Chaudhry Nisar gave positive response.
Earlier 4 more Independent MPAs have assured PML-N for extending their support in government making efforts by it in Punjab. This way the number of independents MPAs supporting PML-N in its endeavors to form government in Punjab has reached 13 while 148 MPAs are required to make government in the province.
PML-N is continuing behind the scene contacts with the like minded parties to solicit their support and they have also assured to become part of PML-N in government making process.
