ISLAMABAD/DUBAI: Former President Pervez Musharraf has termed Imran Khan success positive for Pakistan saying people of Pakistan have proved that they are not with religious parties and they are with change.
“ Imran’s victory is a good news for Pakistan because people of Pakistan have rejected religious parties. They have proved that the entire nation is with change which is a positive move forward. Pakistanis have proved that are against religious extremism. This was affecting country’s standing”, he said this in an interview with an Indian TV channel on Friday.
To a question he said the reports about rigging in election in Pakistan are baseless. Those are talking about rigging who themselves are involved in corruption.
He said judiciary is independent in Pakistan and Nawaz Sharif is reaping what he had sown.
