Lahore: Funeral prayers in absentia of martyrs of Mastung, Peshawar and Bannu bomb blasts were offered in the whole country, on the call of Ameer Jamaat ud Dawa (JuD) Hafiz Muhammad Saeed.
Participants expressed their anger against terrorist attacks. A large number of people from all walks of life joined these events. Demonstrations were held in some cities.
Hafiz Muhammad Saeed led the funeral prayer in Johar Town. He blamed India for involvement in terror attacks. He said, “Attempts are being made to air terrorism in Baluchistan and KPK. Every Pakistani is mournful at the martyrs in recently bomb blasts. Unity is the need of the hour.”
He further said, “Indian secret agencies are nurturing the terrorists on Afghan soil. The terrorists are the worst of all creatures under the sky.”
In Islamabad, funeral prayer in absentia was held at I-8 Markaz. Demonstration was also arranged.
In Karachi, funeral prayer in absentia was offered at Safari Park.
In Multan, President MML Saifullah Khalid offered funeral prayer in absentia of the martyrs. Funeral prayer was offered at Nawan Shahar Chowk. He said that it is the Indian agenda to air terrorism before elections.
In Faisalabad, JuD arranged funeral prayer in absentia at district council chowk.
In Rawalpindi, funeral prayer was offered at Markaz Taqwa, Liaqat Road.
In Sialkot, Convener Tehreek Hurmat e Rasool (THR) led funeral prayer at Main Chowk, Naya Idalat Garhaa. A large number of people joined funeral prayer. He said that whole Pakistani nation condemns the recent wave of terrorism.
In Hyderabad, Secretary Publication MML Faisal Nadeem led funeral prayer in Latifabad.
Funeral prayers in absentia were also offered in other cities like Peshawar, Quetta, Chakwal, Sahiwal, Vehari and DG Khan.
