ISLAMABAD: Acting President Sadiq Sanjrani has stressed the need for improving Railways’ system in Balochistan.
Speaking at a briefing on performance of Railways and its future strategy in Islamabad on Wednesday, he said Balochistan’s linkage with other parts of the country should be improved through better railway network for accelerating economic activities in the province.
The Acting President also suggested for plying a cargo train from Chaghi to Quetta, providing facility of passenger train from Karachi to Quetta daily and improving quality of Railways system in Balochistan.
He said Railways should be run as a corporate organization of international standard so that it could be made profitable.
