Islamabad : The Supreme Court on Wednesday directed the owners of marriage halls to submit their objection till night.
A three-member-bench led by Supreme Court Chief Justice Mian Saqib Nisar heard the case here.
Justice Umar Ata Bandial, during the hearing, remarked what arrangements have been made in the law regarding dispose of waste and sewerage of the marriage halls.
Responding the remarks, the additional attorney general informed the top court that there are sections in the regulation regarding dispose of the waste and sewerage, adding under the regulation all marriage halls owners are bound to make arrangements for waste and sewerage.
The marriage halls owners’ petitioner requested the court for some time to submit objections over Federal Ombudsman report. The chief justice while acknowledging the request, asked to submit their objections till night. The top court judge further remarked that no such request will be entertained in the future.
Later, the court adjourned the case proceeding till indefinite time.
