KARACHI: Police constable Shakil, who was member of encounter team of suspended SSP Malir Rao Anwar has been arrested in Naqeebullah extra judicial killing case.
According to police sources, intelligence agency and police special unit have arrested him during a joint operation.
Sources said Constable Shakil was member of team allegedly involved in killing Naqeeb Ullah.
Police sources said his presence on the scene along with Rao Anwar has been proved in mobile phone CDR. The accused Shakil remained deployed on duty even after three months of the case.
Police on the other said have said that Shakil has recorded an important statement before JIT in Naqeeb Ullah extra judicial killing case.
