Islamabad: A Counter Terrorism Force (CTF) Police station has been established in Islamabad on the directives of Interior Minister.
Chief Commissioner has issued the notification.
This Police station will grab hold of the terrorists in Islamabad and will also investigate the cases regarding terrorism.
IG Police Islamabad has asked about the reports of all the terrorism cases to be sent to CTF.
According to media reports Interviews have been started among Islamabad police for appointment of Expert investigation officers in CTF .
About 500 officers have already taken the trainings.
CTF Police station is established in Bhara Kahu at initial level while it will have jurisdiction across the entire district.
Sources have said that SSP Amin Bukhari, SP Tanveer Mustafa and 2 DSPs from east and west will be working in CTF.
1 SHO will be deployed who will report IG Islamabad.
Work will be started after the selection of investigation officers within a few days.
