Islamabad: Prime Minister Azad Jammu and Kashmir Raja Farooq Haider Khan on Sunday denounced in strong terms the brute killing of 12 Kashmiri youth by Indian forces in occupied Kashmir saying that the killing spree of youth was a part of India’s sinister design to convert Muslim majority state into minority.

The AJK PM said this during a high level meeting which was attended by speaker AJK legislative Assembly Shah Ghulam Qadir, Senior Minister Ch. Tariq Farooq, Ministers of the State Dr. Najeeb Naqi, Raja Nisar Ahmed Khan, Chaudhary Aziz, and Barrister Iftikhar Gillani whereas additional Chief Secretary General Farhat Ali Mir and Secretary Law and Parliamentary Affairs were also present in the meeting.

Prime Minister announced to commemorate 2nd April as Condemnation day against killing of 12 youngsters in south Kashmir’s Shopian district. Voicing serious concern over the brutal killings of Kashmiri youh he said, “Our hearts go out to our brethren in occupied Kashmir who face Indian atrocities on daily basis”. Terming the incident as a planned murder of civilians the PM said that killing of civilians was properly planned by Indian agencies to convert the demographic situation of Muslim majority areas into minority in IOK.

“Our government supports the call of Hurriyat Leadership and we will observe 2nd April as mourn day state wide” , Prime Minister maintained.

The meeting also condemned the brutal killing of Kashmiri Youth in Indian occupied Kashmir and demanded the United Nations to take notice on it.

Meanwhile, meeting also express their full confidence on the leadership of Prime Minister Raja Muhammad Farooq Haider Khan and supported the endeavors for the amendments in AJK Interim constitution Act 1974.
