Lahore: Counter Terrorism Department (CDT) has foiled thwarted a terror bid in collaboration with Intelligence Bureau (IB) and arrested 6 terrorists including a suicide bomber.
According to media reports, Islam-Ul-Haq, Jhangir Shah, Imran, Waqar-Ul-Ameen are included in arrested terrorists while arrested suicide bomber has been identified as Luqman.
CDT authorities have said that arrested terrorists were involved in attacks at Baidian road and Ferozpur road and also in killing an officer of intelligence agency in Sargodha.
Terrorists took refuge in a seminary located and Gajomta and worked out planning there also. They were to target PSL matches at large scale but they got no success.
Arrested terrorists are affiliated with proscribed outfit.
Investigation has been started after shifting the terrorists to an unknown place.
