SRINAGAR: In Occupied Kashmir, Hurriyet Forum Chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq has said that Kashmir is purely a political and human issue and every effort to crush the genuine struggle of the Kashmiris will prove to be futile exercise.
While chairing the Executive Council meeting of the Hurriyet Forum in Srinagar, Mirwaiz said the issue has to be resolved through a sustained dialogue with the active participation of India, Pakistan and the people of Kashmir.
He said the military approach adopted by New Delhi towards Kashmir seems to be crushing the genuine public sentiment in Kashmir.
