ISLAMABAD: Supreme Court (SC) has taken notice of the matter related to service tenure of Judge Muhammad Bashir of Accountability Court (AC) hearing NAB references against Sharif family.
Service tenure of judge Muhammad Bashir is going to be completed and Islamabad High Court (IHC) has sent its recommendation on this count to government. However government has done nothing so far on the summary forwarded by the court.
SC summoned secretary law immediately and remarked law secretary should tell what progress has been made in respect of summary.
The service tenure of judge Muhammad Bashir is going to be completed on March 13 and in the light of PANAMA case decision trial of Sharif family in NAB references has to be completed within 6 months. Its deadline is March 13.
