Muzaffarabad: (Parliament Times) AJ&K minister for Rehabilitation and Transport Nasir Hussain Dar has said government headed by prime minister Raja Farooq Haider was taking steps for supremacy of merit and good governance in liberated areas and was also doing practical efforts for empowerment of the AJ&K government.

Talking to journalists, he said the Pakistan Muslim League -Nawaz government was making efforts for the liberation of occupied Kashmir from India.

He said Indian atrocities and Indian shelling on civilians along the Line of Control cannot deter the fighting spirit of the Kashmiris. Nasir Dar called upon the international community to press Indian for restraining from atrocities on Kashmiris and give them their birthright, right to self-determination accordance with United Nations resolutions for sustainable peace in South Asia.

He said that the interests of Pakistan were always regarded while evolving the policies in Azad Kashmir. He said it was a need to enhance the capabilities and efficiency of the civil servants. On the special directions of the prime minister, special training courses were being carried out for the capacity building of the officers, he said.
