NANKANA SAHIB: Pakistan Muslim League-N being the premier political partly of Pakistan is a mature political force having a great deal of experience, knowledge and understanding as how to face challenges and how to fulfill responsibilities, these remarks were made by MPA Ch. Tariq Mahmood Bajwa, District Chairman M.Tahir Malik, Chairman MC Tehsil Sangla Hill Hassan Shah Nawaz Malhi, President PMLN youth wing NNS Ch. Zulfiqar Ali Bajwa & VC Malik Hadayet Ali during a panel interview with daily Parliament Times.
Lauding the incumbent chief minister of Punjab Shehbaz Sharif’s undying spirit to serve the masses the MPA Bajwa said, “CM Punjab has proved with his efficiency as a beacon of light not only for Punjab but for the entire country”. He said that PML-N was committed to play a productive role to meet the socio-economic challenges faced by the country. He said that the PML-N government has put in place a unique road map for the socio-economic development, progress and prosperity of the nation.
“A comprehensive development network like schools, dispensaries, stadiums, PCC streets and roads even in downtrodden areas has been spread, as per the demands of common masses”, he said.
Referring to local development in Tehsil Sangla Hill he said, “Development work will be carried out in NA-135 in same fashion and diligence”. MPA further elaborated that he was fond of resolving people’s problems at their door steps. “CM Punjab is well aware about the duties assigned to MAPS and their honesty is also judged”, he added.
District Chairman M. Tahir Malik said that all out efforts will be made to ensure prosperity and development in the area. M. Tahir Malik further informed, under Punjab Local govt. package Rs. 2.5 MILLION has been allocated for every Union Council in Nankana Sahib and prior to this one million was allocated. Approximately 175 schemes are going to be started in which PC streets, Drainage system, street light and other basic facilities shall be completed preferably clean safe drinking water and in every UC more than two filtration plants will be installed.
Till the end of Feb.2018, he said that these development schemes would be completed and construction of roads till June 2018 , and its standard of work will be monitored by various agencies he further added.
Pointing out cleanliness issue, he said that, in every UC Rs. one lac and afterward 50 thousand was allocated, but now in every UC SIX staffers will be appointed for cleanliness. He said,” He won the election with 57% success vote ratio but now all other opposition members are with us (PMLN).
Opposition has ended in smoke in Zila Council Nankana Sahib, Tahir applauded his companions’ support with him.
Elaborating about the development schemes at MC level, Chairman MC Sangha Hill Hassan Shah Nawaz Malhi informed that, in 27 wards Rs. 15.5 million will be utilized for paving of streets (PCC/ Soling) and its work standard will be checked by MOI and DC.
Malhi further said and added that, the installation of more 11 water filtration plants are in process will be completed till June. Throwing light over cleanliness issue, Malhi expressed that, MC Sangla Hill is going to handover this work to Private registered firm, because we are not permitted to recruit further any staff on daily wages.
He said,” opposition here at MC Sangla Hill has ended in fog” District Chairman PML-N youth wing Nankana Sahib, Ch. Zulfiqar Ali Bajwa siad, “It is dire need of time that Mian Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif must come forward as PM in future”. VC MC Sangla Hill Malik Hadayet Ali said, “Serving common masses is our top most priority”.
