Islamabad: Taking edge of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PMLN) weaknesses, Asif Ali Zardari not only grabbed Baluchistan but has once again laid foundation of Pakistan People Party’s (PPP) victory in upcoming Senate elections.
Chief Minister Baluchistan Abdul Qadoos Bezinjo has sent invitations to Bilawal and Zardari for extraordinary reception on January 20th while President Muslim League-Nawaz (PMLN) Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has become double minded regarding de-seating of 14 deviant Members of Provincial Assembly (MPA) of PMLN.
If 14 MPA’s deseat then Senate elections can’t be held timely which would be a great blow for PMLN.
Though PTI (Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf) Chairman, Imran Khan has hit Nawaz severely but Zardari quite silently gained control of Baluchistan’s government by taking benefit of PMLN’s decreasing popularity graph.
Zardari started the process two months before when he visited Abdul Qadoos Bizenjo on the demise of his uncle Zardari finalized political affairs with Bizenjo and then sent Dr. Qayyum Somroo to Quetta on special mission for completion of home work.
Bizenjo and Dr. Somroo jointly convinced 14 electable of PMLN including provincial minister for interior, Sarfraz Bugti and Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI) refreshing old relationship with PPP revolt against the then CM Balochistan Sana Ullah Zehri.
Reliable sources disclosed that Asif Ali Zardari had promised allocation of three Senate seats to 14 deviant MPAs of PMLN and decided to seat Faryal Talpur as Chairperson Senate after victory in Senate elections.
Nawaz Sharif summoned Prime Minister (PM) Shahid Khaqan Abbasi to discuss the situation previous day and discussed to take legal action against those who were involved in floor crossing.
Sources said that PPP pushed PMLN into blind alley as if 14 MPAs deseat then Senate elections could not be held timely which would be tantamount to political death for PMLN and if Senate elections holds timely then PPP would emerge as majority party.
It is a historic achievement of PPP to topple PMLN government with the help of just five members of Pakistan Muslim League-Q (PMLQ) in Baluchistan.
Now, Bizenjo is going to organize a public gathering on January 20th where he has already invited Zardari and Bilawal.
