Karachi: At least three suspected terrorists of banned organisation were killed during an encounter with Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) of police and Rangers on Wednesday.
The police and Rangers on a tip off conducted a joint raid in Khani colony an area of Baldia Town.
The terrorists opened fire as they spotted the police and Rangers approaching to them and as a result three terrorists were killed in a retaliatory firing on the spot while two Rangers’ personal and one CTD official sustained injuries in exchange of fire with the terrorists.
As per police, the all three terrorists belong to Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan .
Incharge CTD Mazhar Mashwani told media that suicide vests, explosive and other ammunition were recovered from the possession of the alleged terrorists.
