ISLAMABAD: (Parliament Times)Prime Minister Azad Jammu and Kashmir (PM AJK) Raja Mohammad Farooq Haider Khan has said that in order to recognize the government’s efforts towards the people and to make them more effective, civil society has played a starring role.
Prime Minister expressed his views to a group of young intellectuals who belonged to different areas of Azad Kashmir and serving in the higher institutions of Pakistan here in Kashmir house on Saturday.
The delegation consisted of Prof. Dr. Waqas Ali Kausar, Professor Attia Anwar Zoon, Dr. Waqas Idrees Mughal, Dr. Raja Wasiq, Sardar Qaiser Khan and Jalal ud din Mughal.
Prime Minister uttered that incumbent government is endeavoring to enroll young intellectuals in policy making and their contribution in this regard is remarkable.
“People of Azad Kashmir have a unique reputation for qualification and ability and are serving in Pakistan’s most important institutions.” PM AJK maintained.Prime Minister added that it is our mission to create employment opportunities on equal basis.
PM AJK reiterated that there are many other initiatives taken by the government including provision of basic facilities to masses, ” it is pleasure to know that our youth is interested in the improvement of our state, especially those who are performing their duties in many important offices.” PM AJK added.
During the meeting with Prime Minister, the delegation expressed happiness over the fact that within a short period of time there are many positive measures taken by present government to construe the slogan of Good Governance.
The delegation of young intellectuals assured the Prime Minister that the administrative reforms within the independent state, including improvement of institutions, merit maintenance, improvement of educational system, and the development opportunities to educate youth will be carried on with full zest besides giving their suggestions for the betterment in the society to make AJK an ideal state.
