Islamabad: Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) has submitted all the details of intra party elections before Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP).
ECP adjourned till January 2 the hearing of case seeking nullification of the intra party elections of PTI without any proceedings due to incomplete bench.
PTI leader Azam Swati filed all details of intra party elections including candidate’s details, results, penal and nomination papers before ECP.
It is vital to mention here that election commission of Pakistan during previous hearing had given a last chance to Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf for filing all details of intra party elections.
However, petitioner Akbar S Babar while talking to media men said that Supreme Court judgment on foreign funding case is historical after which ECP can obtain all record of PTI.
Akbar S Babar while citing the judgment of SC said that apex court in its judgment has said that ECP can take suo motto action ,therefore, ECP should hold investigations into corruption of political parties independently while PTI Chief is escaping from accountability for the last 3 years.
He said turncoat politicians are occupying PTI and we have to expel the black sheep from PTI.
