Islamabad: Criminal indifference of administration and police in the federal capital, illegal number plate vehicles are in abundance which have put the security of the Islamabadites at stake.
A private company white vehicle apparently inscribed as FT003 government number are running on the roads of Islamabad. And according to excise record the number is illegal. In this context a responsible officer told Online that hundreds of such vehicles are in Islamabad. but these vehicles are also plying in other cities. Due to these vehicles the internal security of the country not only at jeopardy but revealed the competency of the police and administration of Islamabad as such vehicles are operating on the Shahrahs of capital city without any check and balance.
According to record of Excise and Taxation the number plate on this vehicle is fake. Record shows this number is of Honda Jeep registered on 5 May 2016 whereas this vehicle has been purchased on 21 September2015 and last tax fee was deposited on 30 July 2016.
Under this context the sources said that in the past in Islamabad hundreds of vehicles were registered noncustom. But side by side several fake and government number vehicles are running on the roads of Islamabad. In the light of the possible wave of recent terrorism in the federal capital not only exposed the performance of the Islamabad administration and police but several questions rises pertaining to the security of the citizens.
It is worth mention that in the APS tragedy a vehicle Bolan of fake number plate stolen from Islamabad has been used.
It is recalled that plying of such vehicles so daringly is not only a big loss to the public exchequer but it is a big question mark on the performance of the concerned Government departments.
