Muzaffarabad: Senior lawyer Mirza Zafar Hussain Advocate on Thursday took oath as the Ombudsman of Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
The Acting President of Azad Jammu and Kashmir and Speaker AJK legislative Assembly Shah Ghulam Qadir administered the oath of office to newly appointed Ombudsman of Azad Kashmir. The oath-taking ceremony was held at the presidency Muzaffarabad, was attended by Senior Minister Azad Kashmir Chaudhry Tariq Farooq, Deputy Speaker Azad Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly Sardar Farooq Ahmad Tahir, Minister for Food AJK Syed Shaukat Shah, Chairman Inspectorate Commission, Col. (R) Waqar Ahmed Noor, Secretaries Government, Advocate General, Head of Departments including other nominal persons associated with various school of thoughts.
Earlier Additional Secretary Services Rashid Hanif read the appointment notification of Mirza Zafar Hussain Advocate as the Ombudsman Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
