Muzaffarabad: Chief Justice Supreme Court Azad Jammu and Kashmir Justice Chudhary Muhammad Ibrahim Zia administered oath to the Auditor General of Pakistan Javed Jehangir as Honorary Auditor General of Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
The oath taking ceremony was held at Azad Jammu and Kashmir Supreme Court building here on Thursday. Members Legislative Assembly Dr. Mustafa Bashir Abbasi, Ahmed Raza Qadri besides Member Kashmir Council Malik Parvez Akhtar Awan, Secretary Finance Muhammad Fareed Tarrar , Secretaries to government, Advocate General Azad Kashmir Raza Ali Khan, Head of Departments, Controller General Accounts of Pakistan Shagufta Khanum, Deputy Auditor General of Pakistan Hashmat Iqbal, Accountant General Azad Kashmir Muhammad Ayaz Khan, Additional Accountants General Mohammad Hassan Rana, officers of finance department and others were also present on the occasion.
Earlier, Secretary of State for Law and Justice, Irshad Ahmed Qureshi read the appointment notification of Javed Jahangir as the Honorary Auditor General of Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
