QUETTA: (Parliament Times) Chief Minister Balochistan Nawab Sanaullah Khan Zehri has said that forests are swiftly decreasing due to drought and there is a dire need to do forestation on maximum area of land.

He was talking to his Adviser on Forests and Wildlife Obaidullah Babat who called on him in Quetta.

During meeting, they discussed matters pertaining to protection and preservation of forests and wildlife in the province.

Nawab Zehri said that existence of forests and wildlife is necessary for the sake of existence of humanity.

The Chief Minister said that forestation also helps in overcoming pollution and provision of a healthy environment to the human being.

He directed to check illegal deforestation and hunting of wildlife.
