Timargarah: Ameer, Jamaat e Islami, Pakistan, Senator Sirajul Haq, has said that the country urgently required long term planning for economic progress and to create job opportunities for the masses.
Inaugurating a medical college at Timargarah on Monday, he said long term plans were required to meet the needs of the future generations independent of the IMF especially because Saudi Arabia was also closing its doors for the Pakistani labour.
The JI Chief termed the Timargarah Medical College a gift for the local people and their coming generations. He said that classes in the college would start soon and benefit the residents of Lower and Upper Dir, Chitral, Malakand and Bajaur agencies.
He said that education had been banned in the Dir state during the era of the Nawab which ended in 1969 and during a short period, there had been sufficient progress in the sphere of education. He said that Timargarah medical college had been a dream that had been realized through the efforts of the JI assembly members.
Sirajul Haq said that the politics of Nawaz Sharif had come to an end and the politics of other artificial leaders would die out soon. Reiterating his demand for across the board accountability, Sirajul Haq said that the country could not progress without the accountability of different mafias sitting in the corridors of power.
He said that the JI on coming into power, would provide free education and the government would also pay the dues of the students in private educational institutions.
