QUETTA: (Parliament Times) Balochistan provincial government is taking concrete steps for promotion of education sector in the province.
Sources of Provincial Education Department told our correspondent that District Khuzdar Campus of Balochistan University has been upgraded to the level of university and construction work on its campus would soon be started.
Sources further said that in collaboration with the World Bank a three year project “Global Partnership for Education†has been approved under which 725 new primary schools will be established across the province.
Similarly, fourteen thousand students would be given scholarships in international and national education institutions on merit basis so that students play their role in progress and prosperity of the province.
