Muzaffarabad: (Parliament Times) The President of Pakistan Peoples Party (AJK chapter) Ch. Latif Akbar while expressing his reservations over what he called as “illegal and unconstitutional activities” of incumbent prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider Khan, has said that the AJK premier has been ridiculing the law and making fun of the constitution by issuing directives for attending reception rallies for a person who has been disqualified by the top court.

In a statement issued here on Monday the PPP leader said that it was quite astonishing to note that Kashmir House in Islamabad has been turned into a hub of “illegal and unconstitutional” activities. “How come a person being the chief executive of the State can issue such kind of directives”, he questioned. The AJK PM, Akbar said, was continuously defying the law besides committing contempt of the court by indulging in such activities.

He was of the view that the AJK PM must abstain from using the State resources and spending the peoples’ tax-money on a disqualified person’s reception rallies. “The AJK PM must not become part of unlawful and unconstitutional activities”, Akbar said adding that people of the liberated territory, being politically conscientious, won’t participate in such kind of rallies.
