Faisalabad: Renowned doctor Mehmood Aleem has been allegedly gunned down by unidentified persons on Jail road Faisalabad.
According to media reports, Dr Mehmood Alim was on his way from his clinic to home when some unknown persons riding on a bike opened fire on him leaving him critically injured. He was taken to Allied hospital where he breathed his last.
Doctors said Dr Aleem received four bullet injuries . Doctor organizations have shut down OPDS of Government hospitals and announced strike against killing of Doctor Aleem.
Police have registered the case and started investigation.
