QUETTA: The government of Balochistan will unveil its budget on June 9, featuring a total outlay of Rs320 billion. Adviser to Chief Minister on Finance Sardar Aslam Bizenjo will present the budget in the provincial assembly.

According to official sources, education, health and law and order sectors would get the major share from the budget this year.

The provincial government has also proposed Rs80 billion for the development sector, showing an increase of Rs10 billion in comparison with the previous year.
A 10 per cent increase in pensions and salaries of government employees is also expected, and the minimum wage for labourers is likely to be fixed at Rs15,000.
