Havely: The Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Raja Farooq Haider Khan has said that initiatives taken by his government would ensure that people living in villages and rural areas would get all requisite and modern facilities to bring them at par with urban areas.

The AJK prime mister made these assertions while addressing PML-N leaders and workers at the residence of Ch. Muhammad Aziz in Havely here on Thursday. He said that special development packages would be allocated for the constituency situated along the line of control to make sure that people living in these remote areas have equal livelihood opportunities and access to basic amenities.

Appreciating AJK minister for works and communication Ch. Muhammad Aziz for his community development services in the area Khan said that PML-N leadership has served the masses in the past and will continue to work for the uplift of people in future.

For the betterment of people of Haveli he said government will use all available resources to address the problems faced by the people of the region. He said that the problem of shortage of staff in all governments departments in district Haveli would be addressed gradually and special Ramazan package would be announced to provide relief to consumers during the sacred month of Ramazan. He said the government had taken up hard decisions for the betterment of the people and these decisions were successfully implemented due to support of the workers.

He said that the development activities initiated by his government would change the destiny of the Havely. He said there would be no political victimization; however, stern action would be taken against those neglecting official duties.

Ch Muhammad Aziz Minister for Works and Communications also spoke to the workers on the occasions.

Meanwhile the Prime Minister directed the civil servants to behave friendly with people and give them relief while they pursue their files. He was addressing the meeting of the district officers here on Thursday. He said government would remove the shortage of the staff from district offices. He expressed gratitude to Prime Minister of Pakistan for increasing the development budget of the AJK.” We are extremely proud to have a leadership like Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif in the country,” he said.
He also thanked the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif for approving Ramzan Package for the people.
Later the prime minister was updated on Battaar Power Project and prime minister showed anger over collapse of the protection wall of the Project due to substandard construction.
Meanwhile various delegations of the civil servants met with the prime minister and presented their demands for the solution of their issues. The Prime Minister assured the government employees that their demands would be fulfilled accordingly.
