Islamabad: (Parliament Times) A sub-inspector has been killed in traffic mishap within the Golra Sharif Police jurisdiction.
Sub-inspector Maqsood Ahmed was performing his duties when he was hit by a car driven recklessly by unidentified driver, leaving him fatally injured.
The injured was rushed to local hospital for medical treatment, however, he succumbed to injuries. The body was sent to his native village after his Namaz-e-Janza was offered at Police Lines Islamabad.
The police have registered a case and started investigation.
