Muzaffarabad: (Parliament Times) The Prime Minister of the state of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Raja Farooq Hyder Khan has said that the AJK legislative assembly has reposed its full confidence in the leadership of Pakistan Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif and his government’s policies.
The AJK premier expressed these views while addressing the AJKL legislative assembly session here on Wednesday. Regarding the resolution regarding Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, which was presented in the house earlier Khan said, “The House reposes full confidence in the leadership of Pakistan Prime Ministerâ€. He said that leveling allegation against political parties was conspiracy against the peace and prosperity of the country.
Raja Farooq Hyder Khan while appreciating prime minister of Pakistan for promoting Kashmir issue at international level said that incumbent regime led by Sharif had courageously highlighted Kashmir issue besides raising the plight of Kashmiris at world level. Terming Pakistan as the sole advocate of Kashmiris’ right to self-determination prime minister of AJK said besides playing important role in steering the country out of economic crisis that PM Sharif through his successful diplomatic initiatives has been able to mount pressure on India regarding Kashmir issue.
Soon after taking the reins of the government in 2013 he said that PM Sharif initiated mega power projects to rid the country of load-shedding. He said that operation Zarb-e-Azab and Raddul Fassad were launched in the country whereas concerted efforts were made to further strengthen the security institutions of the country. He said that by initiating billion dollar CPEC project the incumbent government led by Nawaz Sharif has made the country economically impregnable. He said that it was due to these polices that Indian age-old ally (Russia) took part in the first-ever joint military exercise (war games).
He said that so-many regional and intra-regional countries expressed their desire to joint the CPEC, which he said was success of Nawaz government.
He said that it was quite unfortunate that under a well thought out “conspiracy†serious kind of allegations were being leveled against the democratically elected leadership of the country, which he said were bound to weaken the country. He said that some people in the media channels were leveling allegations against the elected leadership. He said that following the Supreme Court ruling on Panama case there has been a surge in stock exchange, which amply demonstrated the fact that people wanted to see a strong PML-N government in the country.
Commenting on Tahfooze Namoos-e-Resalat resolution Khan stated that whatever legislation regarding the Tahfooze Namoos-e-Resalat has been done in Pakistan would be accordingly implemented in letter and spirit in Azad Kashmir and there would be no compromise whatsoever over its implementation.
He said the former speaker of the legislative assembly Major (R) had presented a resolution regarding the Tahfooze Namoos-e-Resalat for which then Muslim Conference legislators played important role in adaptation of the resolution.
