QUETTA: (Parliament Times) The second and final phase of sixth national housing and population census will begin on Tuesday and it will continue till 24th of next month.
Addressing a news briefing in Islamabad on Monday, Chief Census Commissioner Asif Bajwa said that eighty-seven districts will be covered in this phase.
He said that twenty-one districts each in Punjab and Sindh, eighteen in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa including six Agencies of FATA, 17 in Balochistan and five each in Azad Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan will be covered in this phase.
He expressed the hope that people will support and collaborate with the census staff in this phase as well.
To a question, he said that out of eight missing enumerators in Kech district seven have returned back to their homes while one is still missing.
